The 1st Epistle of Bishop Whatcott to the Primary

(Inspired by Paul's epistle to the Romans)

August 20, 2023

To the young Saints in the Primary, I salute you by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole ward!

For you are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Nursery first, all the way up to the Valiant 10.

The Spirit as well as the songs you sing bear witness that "I Am a Child of God" and you are all children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Children, my heart's desire and prayer to God for our ward is, that we all might be saved.

For there is no difference between the Sunbeam and the CTR: for the same Lord over all gives rich blessing to all who call upon him.

But why dost thou tease thy sister? or why dost thou say mean things to thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

We then that are happy ought to serve those that are sad, and not be selfish.

Let every one of us please our parents for their good to edification.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
